It was SO cold this morning....I absolutely FROZE....just 8 Degrees C inside and we had a HUGE frost down on the flats this morning BUT I was too cold to go out and take a photo.........Ok...so I know some of you are laughing at me because to you 8 Degrees C isn't so cold BUT.....for ME it is FREEZING!
Luckily the days have been simply gorgeous though......and a week or so ago we had some rain so everything is so nice and green now it just simply doesn't look like winter at all! I even have a sunflower growing next to my studio....complete with busy bees! Normally sunflowers are grown in summer........I think the frost might of effected it though....it looks a little sad this morning:
Especially when you consider it SHOULD look something like this:
Normally my bags are rather ummmm....advanced....but I had to keep it simple for the magazine! I have to admit I really like how it turned out!
You can also get a fabric kit for Sugar & Spice (and a whole swag of other gorgeous fabrics!) from Fabric Garden!
Can't get it? Don't despair....you will find the pattern available in my pattern shop from August 2013!
A little about Sugar & Spice:
The Sugar & Spice Bag is not only roomy and functional but has loads of storage space too! There are 4 exterior slip pockets and a main compartment closing with a recessed zipper which is super easy to make. Two pen pockets and an additional 4 slip pockets inside complete the ensemble. Lots of wonderful piping, metal rings and shiny rivets give your bag that professional look. Your friends won’t believe you made it yourself!
Finished bag size = Approx. 36cm (14”) X 20cm (8”) X 7.5cm ( 3”
I hope you like it! :)
